Swedish Fans Drank All the Alcohol in Russian Town After World Cup Win

It was Sweden's first world cup win since 2006

Swedish soccer fans have been waiting for 12 years for their team to win a World Cup game. It finally happened earlier this week when Sweden beat South Korea in the 65th minute of the game. The fans celebrated accordingly.

The match was played in the Russian town of Nizhny Novgorod and they were not ready for the throngs of Swedish fans who hit the pubs to celebrate the long-awaited win. They drank the ENTIRE town dry. Not a drop of alcohol was left at any of the watering holes. In the town’s defense they were already running quite low on supplies and soccer fans do love a good time.
