“Suspicious Person” Allegedly Left His Phone Behind After Break In

Looks like a thief left behind the right kind of evidence. Midland Police Service were called out to a County Road 93 address on Saturday, with reports of a suspicious person in the area. Right around the same time, a nearby resident reported his shop had been broken into, with a number of items taken, along with one left behind. Police say the perp left behind his cell phone. The reported suspicious person was tracked down by police, who say he was in possession of the stolen goods and a weapon. The 25-year-old Penetanguishene man was charged appropriately.
