Suspects Sought In Subway Shop Hold-Up

Fled empty-handed after clerk called 911

Barrie Police are looking for help tracking down two suspects in an attempted hold-up of the Subway sandwich shop at Johnson and Blake Streets. Police say two men entered the store Saturday night around 9:30 and demanded cash. They fled when they were unable to open the cash register and an employee had called 911. No weapon was seen. The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1

  • male, white
  • thin to medium build
  • wearing a black bandana with a white pattern, black hoodie with a logo on the right chest, another on the back with a white ‘V’ pattern on the bottom, black pants, black sneakers with white laces and white soles

Suspect 2

  • male, white
  • slim build
  • black face covering with white trim
  • wearing a black Columbia coat, blue jeans rolled up at the bottom, black shoes with a white or grey piece on the tongue
