Suspected Impaired Driver Ran Red Lights, Stopped For Green

Barrie Police are tipping their hats to a few private citizens, now that an alleged impaired driver is off the roads. Witnesses called police around 2:00 yesterday afternoon, to report an erratic driver in Barrie. The vehicle was spotted driving around the college area, allegedly all over the road, cutting off other vehicles, stopping for green lights and running reds. A witness stayed with the vehicle after it pulled over… on the wrong side of the road. When police arrived, they say the 36-year-old woman behind the wheel was impaired by drugs and was charged appropriately.
