Suggestions Sought For Future Of Notorious Orillia Facility

Former Huronia Regional Centre Land Going Unused

The province wants your input on what to do with an Orillia property with a storied past. Ontario is seeking public input on the future use of land where the Huronia Regional Centre once stood. The facility was an institution for those with developmental disabilities, and was at the heart of a class action suit over systemic abuse at the facility. The land is no longer in use, and the province is taking suggestions, and you can submit yours through the province’s website or via email at HuroniaCampusUpdates@infrastructureontario.ca
