St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

   A lot of people are looking forward to painting the town green on Sunday.  St. Patrick’s Day weekend is here.  There’s even a St. Patrick’s Day “warm-up” party happening Saturday.

I’m not quite sure how the Irish cultural and religious celebration morphed into a green beer-drinking pallooza on this side of the Atlantic, but for many that’s what the day has become all about.  Dressing up in the green and eating and drinking until you actually start to turn the colour green.

There’s lot’s of St. Patrick’s Day festivities happening at all of the pubs, bars and restaurants and if you need a warm-up or to practice up on your drinking the day before, Craig Ross is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Warm Up Party at the Bull and Barrel in Barrie’s Cedear Pointe from 3-7 where you can enjoy a beverage, live music and a chance to win Shamrock 95 Prizes!  Sunday., the ROCK 95 Road Crew will be out and about sharing a little luck of the Irish at some of the many pubs hosting St. Patrick’s Day festivities during the day.  Get out and enjoy.  Cheers!
