South End Barrie Crash Involved City Bus

A crash that hampered south end Barrie’s morning commute is under investigation. Barrie Police say a vehicle collided with the rear of a city bus on Mapleview Drive near Veterans Drive, around 7:30 this morning. The 67-year-old male driver of the car was taken to hospital with what police say was a medical emergency not caused by the collision. Collision reconstructionists are still pouring over the scene, but ask anyone who witnessed the crash to give them a call.
