Not a good day to wake up to a stolen snow blower, but a woman on St. John’s Road in Alcona opened her garage to find her brand new machine was missing. 
South Simcoe Police say it appears the garage door was opened from the outside, the machine was carried to the road and loaded into a vehicle. The machine is described as a red, 5.5 horse power, Toro, snowthrower. Police are asking that if you have any information regarding this theft that you contact them.
