SIU Clears Wasaga Beach Cops After Man Fractures Two Fingers in Lock Up
Police Watchdog Says Man Injured Himself
The Special Investigations unit says the OPP in Wasaga Beach are not responsible for the injuries a 19-year-old man sustained in lock up in December. The SIU says the young man hurt himself punching a cell wall a few times after a drunk driving arrest, fracturing two fingers in the process.
