Scott Baio Says Wife of Red Hot Chili Peppers Drummer Attacked Him for Supporting Trump

Hollywood Can Be A Very Strange Place

Scott Baio has filed a police report claiming that Nancy Mack, who’s married to Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, physically assaulted him over his support for the president-elect, TMZ reports. This allegedly went down at an elementary school function, in front of Baio and Mack’s children’s classmates. Hollywood is a weird place.

According to TMZ’s ‘sources’, Mack is vehemently anti-Trump, and when she spotted Baio at their kids’ school event, she started calling him out for publicly supporting Trump . Mack was particularly upset by Trump’s misogynistic behaviour, and she reportedly shouted at Baio, asking him how he could support a candidate who said such a thing. Baio alleges that Mack then grabbed him under his arms and began shaking and shoving him.

TMZ also spoke to someone on Mack’s side of things:

Sources close to Mack say she was merely trying to show Baio how Trump hugs women and denies any intentional physical aggression.

Guess the Peppers won’t be playing Trumps inauguration, either.
