School Board Reaches Deal With Local Educational Assistants and Secretarial Support Staff
SCDSB Agreement With OPSEU Still Needs to Be Ratified By Both Sides
The local public school board and some OPSEU members have come to an agreement. The deal for educational assistants and secretarial support staff still needs to be ratified by both the Ontario Public Service Employees and the Simcoe County District School Board trustees, and terms of the agreement won’t be made public until that happens. Agreements have been reached and ratified with all local unions except for ETFO Early Childhood Educators, OSSTF Continuing Education Instructors, and the deal currently on the table for OPSEU staff.
