Pair Charged With Drug Dealing After Traffic Stop
Running a red light lead to some drugs being seized. Barrie Police got the call around 11:00 yesterday morning, of a vehicle that reportedly blew through a red light at Tiffin and Patterson. They tracked it down nearby and say the two people inside were wanted by Peel Regional Police on an outstanding robbery charge. On top of that, Barrie’s officers say they found about 500g of pot, a few cell phones, trafficking paraphernalia, and a slew of other questionable material. The 17-year-old woman and 18-year-old man were hit with Drug Dealing charges, and sent packing to Peel region to answer to charges there.
