Remains Found in Wooded Area of Oro Medonte
Police Expecting To Remain On Scene For Several Days
The OPP are on scene in Oro Medonte following reports of human remains discovered in a wooded area just north of Barrie. A group of hunters reported the remains to Barrie OPP around 8:00 this morning, in the Gore Road and Line 1 area of Oro Medonte. Investigators expect to remain on scene for several days in order to retrieve the body, as the ground has not yet thawed.
