Radar Gun Helped Catch Suspended Driver In Bradford

Driver's Licence Suspended Following DUI Conviction

A Barrie man shouldn’t have been driving but at least he was honest about it. South Simcoe Police say they pulled a vehicle over on a Bradford area roadway around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, after clocking it at over 110km/h in an 80 zone. As soon as the officer spoke to the driver, the guy behind the wheel admitted to having a suspended licence. They say the licence was under a two year court ordered suspension over an impaired driving charge. The 31-year-old man’s car was impounded on the spot, and he was giving a criminal court date.
