Its super bowl today and even the police want you to enjoy the game. But they also want you get home safely. South Simcoe Police are reminding drivers, heading OUT to enjoy the game, to ensure they have a safe ride home. Officers plan to set up RIDE checks is various locations and warn that if you are stopped and found to have been drinking it’s gonna cost you big time. Not only will your license be suspended for 3 days, you will have your vehicle towed, something you have to pay for and you have to apply to get your license back. That’s if you blow in the warn range. If you fail the breath test…. you will be arrested, head to the station and things will go downhill from there. So police are warning, if you drink don’t drive.
