Police Use Drone To Track Down Wanted Man
UAV and K9 Unit Used in Search For Man Wanted on Nine Charges
Barrie Police took to the sky in their search for a suspect. Officers were tipped off that a guy they wanted to arrest was in the Brock St. area, so they set up a perimeter around 8:30 this morning. Officers not only brought out the K9 unit, but also their Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to search the area. Just before 10:30, police found the 43-year-old man they were after, he now faces nine charges including Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest, Motor Vehicle Theft, and Break and Enter.
