Police Hunt For More Victims After Child Luring Charge Laid In Bowmanville

A Bowmanville man is up on Child Luring charged, and police fear there may be more victims out there. York Regional Police got the call from a concerned York Region mother after they say she found inappropriate chats between her 12-year-old son and a 25-year-old woman. Investigators say they discovered this woman was actually a 40-year-old man from Bowmanville using a fake Facebook profile to groom and lure young boys. Investigators believe the suspect first learned the child’s name while working at various hockey arena snack shops in the Oshawa area. If your kids have been contacted by a Facebook profile under the name Jennifer Jackson using the profile picture to the left, you’re asked to contact York Regional Police.
