Police Followed in Their Suspect’s Footsteps
Charge Laid After Abandoned Vehicle Located in Barrie
At least all this snow helped police catch an alleged bad guy. Barrie Police say just after midnight this morning they came across an unoccupied vehicle that had slid into the ditch on the ramp from the south 400 to Mapleview. Police followed the footprints in the snow to locate the driver who they say was wanted on an arrest warrant after they say the 34-year-old man was wanted on a previous Fail to Remain crash and Driving While Suspended. He was taken straight to the Central North Correctional Centre.
