Police, Family Still Tracking Killer – Ten Years Later

'Someone Knows Something'

Today marks ten years since April Dobson was shot and killed while sitting on a porch on Browning Trail in Barrie. Witnesses remember seeing a man fleeing the scene on a mountain bike, down a catwalk to Bronte Crescent. He has not been seen since. Dobson’s family will hold a vigil at 7 o’clock tonight at Heritage Park -not only to remember April, but in the hope someone might remember something more from that night that will help police find the person responsible. A $50,000 reward has been offered for an arrest and conviction in the case.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Aldridge at 705-725-7025, ext. 2132. A tip line has also been set up and anyone with information is asked to call 705-725-7025, ext. 2160, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or to leave an anonymous tip online atwww.tipsubmit.com
