Police Charge One, Seeking Another, After Department Store Theft
One Suspect Caught At Scene, Other Fled
Barrie Police are on the hunt for a partner in crime. Officers say two women went into a Bayfield St. department store on December 3rd, and tried make off with a cologne gift set. Loss prevention officers tried to stop the pair, and while one allegedly ran off, the other went back into the store to be apprehended. While a 26-year-old Barrie woman is facing a Theft charge, police want to speak to the other suspect. She is described as:
- Female, white
- Medium build, 5’7”
- 25-30 yrs.
- Long brown hair pulled up into a messy bun
- Wearing a long black jacket hat
