Police Appealing For Witnesses to Keswick Shooting
One Man Rushed To Hospital With Life-Threatening Injuries
A shooting in Keswick has sent one man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
York Regional Police got the all to a home in the Metro and Spring Roads area just after midnight Monday morning, after gunshots were heard.
Officers arrived on scene to find a man suffering from a severe wound. The 23-year-old Toronto man was airlifted to the GTA.
Witnesses reported seeing five or six possible suspects getting into a silver-coloured vehicle before fleeing the area. Investigators believe there are further witnesses to this incident too, and are asking they get in touch with the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7341. Nearby businesses are being encouraged to check exterior surveillance systems for footage of the incident.
