Cauliflower has become this genius way to eat vegetables while pretending you’re eating delicious carbs. You can have cauliflower rice, it can be a replacement for pasta, mashed potatoes and…pizza crust!
I tried making cauliflower pizza crust and it kind of turned into a soggy mess and the whole time I was eating it, I could not stop thinking about the real deal. I just wanted real bread crust. But I’m sure Pizza Pizza has got it down pat. They now have cauliflower crust pizza. It’s made out of cauliflower, pizza mix (which includes: corn starch, rice flour, potato starch, dextrose and vegetable fibers), yeast, extra virgin olive oil, brown cane sugar and sea salt, all of which are non-GMO.
Pizza Pizza CEO Paul Goddard said that the new cauliflower crust pizza “will offer consumers the perfect healthier alternative they’ve been looking for in a pizza, without compromising on taste.”
It’s only available in a medium and every pizza has two servings of vegetables. It can be ordered custom or in one of the two new, specially crafted recipes, including:
Cauli Pesto: Pesto sauce base, mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, spinach and italiano blend seasoning.
Cauli Blanca: Olive oil base, mozzarella cheese, artichokes, grilled zucchini, roasted garlic, parmesan cheese and italiano blend seasoning.
