Pepper Spray, Baton Used in Alleged Bradford Assault

Suspect Turned Himself In

A Bradford man is facing charges after police say he put someone else in the hospital using pepper spray and a baton. Around 3:00 Wednesday afternoon, a teen near the Bradford library was approached by a pair with whom he’d had an earlier argument. One of the pair allegedly used pepper spray on the teen before striking him several times with an extendable baton. The suspect ran off but turned himself over to police yesterday morning. A 19-year-old faces two Assault With a Weapon charges, and one of Probation Violation. The victim was treated at hospital and released.
