Pedestrian Struck in South End Barrie

Police say criminal charges are expected after a pedestrian was struck by a car. It happened around at the intersection of Meadowland Ave and Springhome Rd., near Little and Bayview, around 9:00, a 53-year-old woman was rushed from the scene to RVH after being struck by a car there. Police continue their investigation while the woman has non-life threatening head injuries treated in hospital.
