Patrick Brown Takes A Seat In The Legislature

Won't be quick to discount Liberal initiatives

Provincial Tory leader Patrick Brown says he won’t be like his predecessors; that he won’t balk at every government initiative just because they’re Liberal. If they’re good, and will benefit Ontario, he say he’ll acknowledge, even praise them. If not,he’ll offer what he thinks are better alternatives. The Simcoe North MPP will be sworn in today as the legislature resumes sitting. He has sent Premier Wynne a list of his priorities:
  • getting things settled with teachers
  • how to deal with Hydro One
  • finding ways to encourage job creation
