Oro-Medonte Man Finally Claims Lottery Prize

Ronald Kajiura of Oro-Medonte smiling a little wider these days. He has just claimed a $137, 837.20 Lotto 6/49 prize – from last August! Kajiura says he’s a regular player but clearly doesn’t check his tickets often enough. An accountant by profession he plans to spend a portion of the windfall on a new vehicle, as well as take a special vacation. “I was born in British Columbia and it is one of my favourite places in Canada. I definitely want to treat myself to a trip to BC and hit the hot springs. This win frees me up to live out a dream or two.”
