Ontario To Foot The Bill For Some In Vitro Treatments

Two Simcoe County Clinics Among 50 To Offer Government Funded Fertility Treatment

If you’re looking to get the pitter-patter of little feet around the house sooner than later, the province is trying to make that easier. Ontario announced today 50 clinics to offer government-funded fertility treatments across the province. That includes The Barrie Fertility Centre and Orillia Fertility Associates. Starting today, Ontario will contribute to the cost of one in vitro fertilization per patient. They say about 5,000 Ontarians a year are trying to start or expand a family via this method. The list of participating clinics is on Ontario’s Ministry of Health And Long Term Care website.
