There Is Good News And Bad News

It is going to cost you more to heat your house and fill up your car. The cost of gas is expected to jump by 4.3 cents a liter and on average it will cost about 5 bucks more a month to keep your house warm. It’s also going to cost more to buy a bottle of wine,  2 percent every year for the next three years.  Smokers will also have to dig deeper, as the tax on a pack of cigarettes will go up by about 32 cents. There is some good news though. Students from families with incomes under 50-thousand will be eligible for a grant to cover tuition. The cap-and-trade program should save the average household 2 bucks a month on hydro and the drive clean emissions tests will no longer cost 30 dollars.
