Took 2 Years To Build New Bridge 10 Hours To Tear Down Old One
A bridge more than two years in the making is now the only one at the 400, highway 11 split. Traffic was re-routed overnight as crews with large equipment demolished the old bridge and cleared the area in just over 10 hours. The Ministry of Transportation says the entire project came at a cost of about 8.5 million dollars.
