New Tecumseth Spot Check Pulls Six Vehicles Off The Road
Annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Blitz Finds Problems With 4 Cabs, 2 Tows
A regular check of commercial vehicles in New Tec yesterday resulted in six vehicles pulled off the road. Nottawasaga OPP paired up with the Ministry of Transportation to perform spot checks on tow trucks and taxis around New Tecumseth, claiming they checked 57 vehicles all told. Of those, two tow trucks had their plates pulled, while four taxis were taken out of service. Police say braking system problems were among the issues they found.
