New Lowell Man Sentenced In Death Of His Wife
Plan to shoot self went awry
A New Lowell man has been sentenced to seven years, including time served, in the 2013 death of his wife. Mitchell Brooks was convicted of Manslaughter. Court heard he had been despondent over their pending separation – that he had planned to shoot himself but his wife Deena was shot point blank as she tried to wrestle the gun from him.
