New Buds for Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs get ready to open up a brand new season as they enter into their Centennial Season starting tonight on the road in Ottawa.

There hasn’t been a lot to cheer for over the last number of years, but this year, Leafs fans are about to embark on something they haven’t seen in a long time.  While it would be a stretch to think this year’s Leafs team will be world-beaters, they are headed in the right direction with a lot of youth and up and coming young stars including their first round draft pick Auston Matthews who is expected to carry the team into the future.

While the Leafs finished 30th overall last year so there’s only one direction for the team to go this year.  So, jump on the bandwagon.  The ride begins tonight.
