Riders Will Have To Dig Deeper Starting Tomorrow
If you are taking the Go to work or school tomorrow, you might want to check the couch for a little extra change! Fare hikes go into effect tomorrow.
Riders in Barrie headed for Union Station could see that increase upwards of 60 cents a trip. If you are using the Presto Card the increase won’t be as harsh. Only 38 cents. The cost increase is to help fund projects like the addition of 19 new train trips system wide, 127 new cars, the first will make their appearance this fall and new maintenance programs.
