Moose-Licking is a Real Danger to Canadians
"Do not attempt to push moose away from your vehicle while on foot"
The Alberta government is warning drivers of a pretty unique problem to watch out for this winter: moose that lick cars.
The car-licking moose can be found in the parking lots of Peter Lougheed Provincial Park because they enjoy licking the road salt off the parked vehicles.
The problem has gotten so bad that the Alberta government has issued a news release advising people that “the recommended moose viewing distance is 30 metres”.
