Money To Help Youth Mental Health

Should Reduce Wait Time And Increase Services

Funding has been announced that will help expand mental health care for youth in Simcoe County and the Muskoka region. The province announced 3.2 million dollars in annual funding for The R V H Center’s Youth Mental Health Program. The money will be used to create space for in-patient beds, a day program and capacity for 3-thousand out-patient visits annually. The new program is expected to help reduce wait times for mental health services for youth in the area.
