Miles Teller To Play Goose’s Son In “Top Gun 2”
Tom Cruise And Val Kilmer Will Return As Maverick And Iceman
Top Gun: Maverick began filming earlier this year, with both Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer set to reprise their roles as Maverick and Iceman, respectively. While we know Goose won’t be back since he met his maker in the 1986 film, his son is pegged to play a role in the sequel.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Goose’s son will be played by Miles Teller. Teller earned praise for his performances in films such as The Spectacular Now and Whiplash.
Top Gun: Maverick is being directed by Joseph Kosinski, who is best known for his work on Only The Brave, TRON: Legacy, and the Tom Cruise vehicle Oblivion. There is no release date for the Top Gun sequel yet.
