Midland Foodland Giving Out Turkeys Again This Year
Store has 500 Turkeys To Give To Midland's Less Fortunate
The Midland Foodland is hoping to help complete that Christmas feast, like they did last year. We got a call from Don, the manager over at the Foodland on Balm Beach Rd., and he said they’ll be giving out free turkeys to any local residents who need it. They’re not asking you to prove you’re in need of this generosity, and are trusting that no one takes advantage of it. The grocer did this last year too; Don says it took two days to give out the turkeys, while a few folks took him aside afterwards to return the bird so those who needed it more could have it.
