Midland Attraction To Share in Provincial Tourism Fund

Wye Marsh One of Nearly Two Dozen Organizations To Share in $1.6m

Ontario is trying to bolster tourism to the province. They’re throwing $1.6 million into 23 arts and culture programs across the land to do so too. Wye Marsh in Midland will share in the money too, through something called the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund. It’s designed to strengthen tourism to boost local economies. “Arts and culture organizations across the province have exciting things in store for the spring and summer season. Through the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund, our government is able to help them enhance their offerings, attract more visitors and grow cultural tourism in the province.” says Michael Coteau, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
