Meat Loaf’s ‘Bat Out of Hell’ Being Turned into Musical

To celebrate the album's upcoming 40th anniversary

Meat Loaf’s famed rock opera Bat Out of Hell is being made into a musical by Jim Steinman, the man who wrote all the songs on the best-selling album.

Steinman is going to be incorporating the songs that made the original album a success including “Paradise by the Dashboard Light”, “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad” and “I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)” From Bat Out of Hell II.

The musical is described as:

“a romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love, set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmi city adrift from the mainland.”

Previews begin February 17th, 2017 in the U.K. and will eventually play in Canada.
