Meaford-Area Crash Claims A Life
Owen Sound Man Killed In Collision Involving Tractor Trailer
OPP are investigating a crash near Meaford that claimed the life of an Owen Sound man. Police closed highway 26 near Grey Road 5 around 8:00 this morning, after it appears a car swerved into oncoming traffic, striking a tractor trailer head on. The 61-year-old driver of the car, Eric Westholm of Owen Sound, succumbed to injuries at hospital, while the tractor trailer driver was not injured.
