Long Night For Adjala-Tosorontio Firefighters
Neighbouring Departments Called In To help
Firefighters from five departments spent most of last evening fighting flames at an address on Concession Road 4 near the 10th Sideroad of Adjala. Adjala-Tosorontio Fire Service called in help from Clearview, Rosemount, New Tecumseth, and Caledon. They used six tankers to shuttle water to the scene. It appears the fire started on a back deck BBQ area. Three teens were able to get out of the home uninjured, and Adjala-Tosoronto Fire Chief Ralph Snyder says the damage is estimated at $450,000.
