Local Police Launch Holiday Initiatives Today
Festive RIDE and Lock It or Lose It
Barrie, South Simcoe and York Regional Police will join a provincial Lock It Or Lose It campaign today. Barrie officers will be at the Allandale GO station at 11:30am, checking to ensure vehicles have been locked. Those that are not will get a note urging the owner to lock it up in future, as well as keep valuables out of sight. South Simcoe Police will be doing the same at the Bradford GO station at 11:30am. York regional Polcie will be at various GO stations in their region.
Midland Police, in conjunction with Mothers Against Drunk Driving will launch the Simcoe County Festive Ride/Red Ribbon campaign this afternoon at Midland Secondary School.
