Local Kids Donate Their Birthday Gifts To The Toy Drive

For the second year in a row, Riley (7) and Sam (5) have shown us what the Christmas spirit is all about.

It all started last year. Riley and Sam heard about the Rock 95 Toy Drive on the radio, and told their parents that instead of presents for them, they’d like their friends to bring presents for the Toy Drive to their birthday party.

Sam, Riley and their friends were excited about the opportunity to help kids in need, donating some extraordinary toys which are sure to delight some kids this Christmas. And their parents were thrilled to be able to teach their kids an important lesson, on the spirit of giving and helping those less fortunate in your community.

They joined us last night at Freezin’ For A Reason to donate their toys, and helped us raise more than $20,000 in cash and toys for the Toy Drive. Incredible!!
