Kid Rock is Running for U.S. Senate
"this is not a hoax"
Kid Rock has officially announced his bid for the U.S. Senate in Michigan. He tweeted his website KidRockForSenate.com Wednesday and teased “a major announcement in the near future”.

He said in a note on his website that he still has 15 days to file the official paperwork with the FEC and to make his run official. “It’s not a hoax, it’s a strategy and marketing 101.”
Kid rock also says he’s planning on releasing new music during his campaign. “Like politicians write books during their campaigns, I’m planning on putting out music during mine and IT ALL STARTS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT.” Shortly after posting this, he released a 12-minute song called “Greatest Show on Earth”.
