The first image of Josh Brolin as Cable in the new Deadpool film has been released.

In the Marvel universe, Cable is a time-travelling mercenary with telepathic and telekinetic abilities. Brolin has signed on to play Cable in four films, meaning that he could appear in future Deadpool sequels or other films in the X-Men universe like upcoming New Mutants or X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
Deadpool 2 is currently filming in Vancouver and is set for release on June 1st, 2018.
