It’s Winterfest Weekend in Barrie! Voted one of the top winter festivals in Ontario to take in, Winterfest is full of activities for people of all ages and especially for families.
Barrie’s waterfront area around Heritage Park and Memorial Square comes alive this weekend and will be filled with activities going on Saturday (10-5) and Sunday (10-4) and includes amazing hand-crafted snow and ice sculptures, helicopter and horse drawn wagon rides, dog cart rides, ice slides for the kids, lumberjack shows, fire and light performers and tons more.
There are also a lot of events happening in association with Winterfest like the Polar Bear dip into Kempenfelt Bay, Pancake Breakfast, Maple Taffy displays, food vendors and more.
