Jeff Healey – A 50th Celebration at Massey Hall

This Friday night at Massey Hall in Toronto, friends, peers and fans of Jeff Healey will gather to celebrate what would have been the influential artists 50th birthday.

Anyone who knew Jeff Healey knew what an incredible and gifted musician he was, and he shared his talents and helped other musicians along their musical journey as well.

All proceeds from the show will are being donated to World Eye Cancer Hope and feature an all-star line-up of performers including Albert Lee, Philip Sayce, Sonny Landreth, The Trews, Walter Trout, the Jeff Healey Alumni Band and some very special surprise guests.

Many people don’t know that Jeff Healey was instrumental in helping to launch the career of a number of artists including The Trews.  Colin MacDonald of The Trews talks about what Jeff Healey meant to the band in the early days of their career.
