He was honoured at the Governors Awards

After 56 years in the industry and 200 movies, Jackie Chan has finally received an Academy Award, something he’s been coveting since seeing Sylvester Stallone’s 23 years ago at his home. The award was presented by Tom Hanks, Michelle Yeoh, and Chris Tucker.

In honour of Jackie Chan’s Oscar, here are three facts you probably didn’t know about him:

1. He won a Guinness World record for “Most stunts by a living actor” and the record for “most film credits” in the movie Chinese Zodiac where he was the writer, director, lead actor, producer, executive producer, cinematographer, art director, unit production manager, stunt coordinator, prop man, gaffer, stuntman, composer, theme song vocalist, and catering coordinator.

2. He once spent two days after a fight trying to push his bone back into his fist but later realized it was the other guy’s tooth.

3. He has released 20 albums since 1984 and has performed vocals in Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Taiwanese and English.
