Innisfil Working Towards Establishing Health Centre

Innisfil residents are one step closer to better health care. At Wednesday night’s council meeting, everyone around the table agreed to pair the Town of Innisfil up with the Innisfil Health Partners group to bring a much-needed health centre to town. Council gave the nod to allocating land at the intersection of Yonge and Innisfil Beach Road, while the IHP is in charge of luring medical professionals to the area. The health centre will focus on diagnostic, and laboratory services, along with an urgent/after-hours clinic. The final agreement isn’t set in stone.
