Innisfil Woman Nearly Duped By Credit Card Scammers
She Caught On Before Losing Any Money
An elderly Innisfil woman was almost victim of fraud, but got wise before she lost out. South Simcoe Police say she got the call yesterday from some scammer who promised lower interest rates on her credit card. The lady gave out more info than she should have but realized it was a scam in time to call her bank and cancel all her cards before losing any money.
